#5.2.1 smtp;550 5.2.1 / NonMapi - the number of named properties reached the quota limit (8192):



Scenario:

1- You have moved mailbox from Microsoft Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010, and when try sending emails out you get NDRs "#5.2.1 smtp;550 5.2.1........."

-OR-

2- You get error messages in the Applications logs on an Exchange 2003 - Event ID : 9667 and 9669

Description: Failed to create a new named property for database "" because the number of named properties reached the quota limit (). User attempting to create the named property: . Named property GUID: . Named property name/id: .

Description: The number of replica identifiers created for database "" is close to quota limit. Current number of replica identifiers: . Quota limit for replica identifiers: . User attempting to create the replica identifier: .

Resolution:

Go to the following registry key on the Exchange 2003 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services \MSExchangeIS \Your-Exchange-Server-Name\Private-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx

Increase the Registry value of NonMAPI Named Props Quota to 25000
